This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding your information when you use the MindGym mobile application (the "App") and our backend services.

By downloading, installing, or using MindGym, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

A. Information You Voluntarily Provide

• Account Information: When you register or log in, we collect your name, email address, and encrypted password.
• Profile Preferences: Daily focus targets, workout schedule reminders, and audio/notification preferences.

B. Information Collected Automatically

• Cognitive Activity & Focus Metrics: Scores achieved in mini-games (Memory Matrix, Stroop Test, Schulte Table, Mental Math, Chess), Focus Timer durations (Pomodoro intervals completed), earned XP, and daily check-in streaks.
• Device & Diagnostics: Anonymous crash reports, hardware model, operating system version, and system performance metrics to troubleshoot bugs and improve app stability.
• On-Device Local Cache: Local database storage (Hive) on your device to ensure offline capability and persistent game progress.

C. Advertising & Third-Party SDK Data

The App integrates Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) to deliver non-intrusive advertisements. AdMob may collect and process:

• Google Advertising ID (GAID / AAID)
• Coarse general location derived from IP address
• Ad interaction telemetry (impressions, clicks, views)

2. How We Use Your Information

• To track, calculate, and display your Cognitive Skill Radar and 7-day focus analytics.
• To sync your progress, scores, and streak status seamlessly across devices.
• To serve relevant, non-intrusive advertisements via Google AdMob.
• To troubleshoot bugs, prevent crashes, and optimize app responsiveness.
• To prevent fraud and maintain the security of user accounts.

We never sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third-party data brokers or marketing companies.

3. Third-Party Service Integrations

MindGym relies on trusted service providers that operate under their respective privacy policies:

• Google AdMob: AdMob Privacy & Security

4. Device Permissions

MindGym only requests the minimal permissions required for operation:

• INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required to synchronize your cloud profile and load ads.
• WAKE_LOCK: Required to keep the screen active during an active Focus Timer session.

Note: MindGym does NOT access your camera, microphone, precise GPS location, contacts, or personal files.

5. Data Security & Encryption

All network data transmitted between the App and our servers is secured using industry-standard HTTPS/TLS 1.3 encryption. User passwords are protected using irreversible cryptographic hashing algorithms.

6. User Rights & Data Deletion (Google Play Compliance)

To request permanent deletion of your account and cognitive records:

• In-App: Open MindGym > Settings > Account > Delete Account.
• Via Email: Email our compliance team at [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" from your registered email. Your account, progress records, and personal identifiers will be permanently purged within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K)

MindGym is designed for general audiences (ages 13 and older). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal data without parental consent, please contact us immediately so we can remove the data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" timestamp.
